Alan Wilkis is a Brooklyn-based artist, producer, and remixer extraodinaire. He has recorded two critically-acclaimed solo albums to date, and in the past year has created official remixes for Yeasayer, RJD2, Phoenix, The Temper Trap, The Very Best, and many more. As noted in the Independent (UK), Alan is “quickly becoming the go-to guy for remixes among the indie sector.”
His music has been in frequent rotation on KCRW, BBC, Sirius/XM, East Village Radio, and NPR, and he’s topped the Hypemachine and Elbo.ws charts on several occasions. Dubbed a “Brooklyn studio whiz” by Time Out NY, Alan’s work has been featured on MTV.com, Paper Magazine, Stereogum, Spinner, and Okayplayer, and more…
He has also composed original work for and licensed his music to Hutchinson Bikes, Billabong, GOOD Magazine, IFC’s “Dinner with the Band,” Pinkberry, NIKA Water, and various others.
