Another Quarter of Spotify Mixtapes (Q3, 2012)
Q3 of 2012 has come to a close, and so I must archive all my weekly mixtapes from the past 3 months and start a fresh one. I gotta say, I’ve been doing this process for a little over a year now, and I look forward to making my mixtape every single Friday. Must be similar to how a radio DJ feels…
I’ve gotten an immense amount of positive feedback from friends and strangers alike, as well as polite nudges when I’m a little late to add new songs for the week. And I’m picking up new listeners on a near-daily basis, so all signs point to keeping it alive. By all means, if any of you out there have any thoughts / comments / suggestions, as well as any albums or artists I’ve just gotta check out, bring it on!
And now for the stats… For the months of July - September:
- I listened to a total of 3100 songs.
- I listened to a total of 161 new albums, roughly 13 per week.
- My weekly playlist now has 304 subscribers, up from 254 at the end of Q2.
